Our story

Built by a coach, for coaches

NextGameCoach was built by Steve Wilson, who spent years coaching youth baseball — including U19 ball — and kept running into the same problem every tournament weekend.

Seven games across three days. A 95-pitch daily max and rest-day rules to track for every arm. Fair-play minimums so every kid gets their innings. Lineup decisions between games with tired players and a parent watching the clock. The official scorebook apps recorded what happened, but nothing helped him decide what to do next.

So he built it. NextGameCoach started as a spreadsheet on the bench and became a real app: live pitch counts with automatic rest-day math, fair-play tracking that flags who's behind, and lineup suggestions that get every player their time. It works offline at the field and syncs when you're back on signal, and two devices can share one game live.

It's still early, and that's the point — NextGameCoach is being shaped with a small group of coaches before it opens to everyone. If that's you, we'd love your help.
