Between innings is chaos. Who's eligible to pitch? Who's behind on innings? Where can you put your shortstop's brother who only fields second base? Doing this in your head, with five parents asking questions, while the umpire is calling you back out — that's where mistakes happen.

- 1Drag any player onto any position. Displaced player swaps to their old spot.
- 2Green halos light up on positions they're competent at.
- 3Orange dots flag players short on innings.
- 4Nothing commits until you tap Confirm.
What you get
Between-inning substitutions in seconds, not minutes.
Visual fair-play status while you decide, not after.
A single Confirm step that logs the whole rearrangement cleanly.
Under the hood
The diamond is invoked from either "Change Pitcher" (which locks in a new pitcher first, then opens the editor) or "Position Change" directly. Ineligible pitchers show with a reason ("3 days rest from Saturday's 65 pitches"). The app suggests; you decide.
